To the Zilina German Borisovich – 105 years since birth

The large geologist, and the pioneer of several gold deposits and rare metals, the researcher in the field of experimental mineralogy, the doctor of geological and mineralogical sciences, professor, the honored worker of science and technology of Kazakhstan, the winner of the Lenin award, the corresponding member of National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan G.B. Zhilinsky was born on April 25, in 1914 in the Semipalatinsk city.

• In 1931. He was graduated school in Semipalatinsk.

• 1932-1937. Student of the Kazakh mining and metallurgical institute in Almaty.

• 1950-1964. Deputy director of Institute of geological sciences of AN KAZSSR.

• 1976-1979. The deputy director of Institute of geology of the Yakut branch FROM Academy of Sciences of the USSR.

• 1986-1990. Head of the laboratory of experimental mineralogy of Institute of geological sciences of K.I. Satpayev.

• In RGP "Gylym Ordasy" the 105 anniversary since the birth of the doctor of geological and mineralogical sciences was devoted in the Central scientific library the book exhibition , professor, the corresponding member of academy of Sciences Zilina Herman Borisovich is organized.

Information about  life and creativity of the scientist, on the received awards, the scientific works and articles was published in periodicals and editions from its edition were presented at an exhibition.

To Galuzo Illarion Grigoryevich – 120 years since birth

To the academician, the Dr.Sci.Biology, the scientist-parasitologist of AN KAZSSR Illarion to Grigoryevich of Galuzo - 120 years.

Illarion Grigoryevich Galuzo was born on April 8, 1899 in the village of Dargeyka of the Vitebsk region, BSSR.

1921-1926. Student of the Leningrad veterinary institute.

1937-1946. Head of the laboratory of parasitology of the Kazakh branch Academy of Sciences of the USSR.

1946-1976. Manager of various parasitological laboratories of Institute of zoology of AN KAZSSR.

1946-1951. Academician-secretary of AN KAZSSR.

1951-1967. Director of Institute of zoology of AN KAZSSR.

I.G. Galuzo played the leading role in creation of parasitological science in Kazakhstan. Under the leadership grew young shots, were organized with its direct participation in structure of branch there was an Institute of zoology and parasitological laboratories. I.G. Galuzo published more than 300 scientific works. I.G. Galuzo is a lot of work, energy and forces enclosed in development of zoological science in the republic. Under his leadership was created the new directions were created, at Institute of zoology new laboratories are open, the experimental base, the museum of the nature.

The name of I.G. Galuzo is well known to foreign parasitologists. Many of them exchanged with it experience and works. I.G. Galuzo was a participant of many international conferences, meetings and congresses. "Badge of Honour", etc. is awarded with the Orders of Lenin, the Labour Red Banner.

To the 120 anniversary since the birth of the academician of AN KAZSSR, Dr.Sci.Biol., professor Illarion Grigoryevich Galuzo the Central scientific library organized a book exhibition. The main stages of life and activity of the scientist, his works, literature and memories of it, data on the international and republican awards, articles published on pages of periodicals and also the literature which left under its edition are presented at an exhibition.

To Edyge Aytzhanovich Turkebayev - 90 years

Turkebayev Edyge Aytzhanovich was born in the village of Zhalanash in Almaty region.

• 1943-1948 E.A. Turkebayev was a student of the Kazakh mining and metallurgical institute.
• 1951 He graduated from the Moscow institute of steel and alloys.
• Studied 1954-1957 in a postgraduate study of the Moscow institute of steel and alloys.
• Worked with 1957-1960 at the Karaganda chemical and metallurgical institute.
• Worked as 1961-1965 at the Karaganda iron and steel works.
• 1974-1986 the director of NIEI at a republic State Planning Committee.

Edyge Aytzhanovich Turkebayev is an eminent scientist, the person of encyclopedic knowledge. He wrote a number of monographs on metallurgy, was an initiator of introduction of oxygen blasting in ferrous metallurgy.

His book "Применениекислородавметаллургии" ("Use of Oxygen in Metallurgy") is used as the textbook, is the reference book not of one generation of metallurgists. The book «Теоретическиеосновыиэкономическаяэффективностьинтенсификацииметаллургическихпроцессовкислородом» ("Theoretical Bases and Economic Efficiency of an Intensification of Metallurgical Processes by Oxygen") combines technical and economic aspects.

Edyge Aytzhanovich was one of the first estimated advantages of a market way of development, having written the monograph («Основырыночнойэкономики») ("Fundamentals of Market Economy") which appeared in the new processed edition, in the current year.

For its contribution to development of metallurgy and metallurgical and also economic sciences, Turkebayev E.A. was awarded twice with an Order of the Badge of Honour, the medal "Veteran of Work", to it the rank of "The honored worker of science of the Republic of Kazakhstan" is given.
